Hello and thank you for stopping by (what was) my little corner of the internet world.
I started this blog as a place to be a part of a conversation on health and happiness. I now feel like I belong to both an internet and real-life community focused on these things.
Since starting this blog I’ve become a mother of two, a yoga teacher and a mentor. I got married, had a cancer scare, healed from ulcerative colitis and flared up again. I’ve made plenty of mistakes along the way.
What I have learned is that life is messy, motherhood is exhausting and health is not a linear journey. But my heart is bursting full of love and I get to choose how I view the world and how I create my own life. If you have a chronic health condition, know there are more options than ever before. Get curious! Some of my favorite things are walks in nature, yin yoga, veggies for breakfast, probiotics, essential oils, epsom salt baths, swimming in the ocean and coconut oil. I also love dark chocolate flourless cake and iced coffee. I still see specialists and follow most of their advice, but finding my own version of balance helps me thrive. What keeps you healthy and happy? How do you find balance?
I intend to keep this conversation going online in Instagram. You can always email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thanks for reading!
